We read a lot about the benefits of getting up early and starting the day by having a productive morning routine.
And you can tell me: Ame, but I'm not a morning person, it's hard for me to get up early.
It is possible, but I want to tell you something: you are everything you want to be 😉
That's right, you have the power to be a morning person and reach your potential, if you want it, you just have to create the habit.
Small steps, little by little, at your own pace and without pressuring or judging you.
For something we also read that all these great entrepreneurs (rich and successful) have in common is that they adopted the habit of getting up early.
“You will never change your life until you change something you do every day. The secret of its success is found in your daily routine”
John C. Maxwell.
THE BENEFITS OF GETTING UP EARLY
5 benefits of getting up early to have more productive mornings.
The benefits of getting up early are enormous and I will have to do a post about it, but for now I will leave you with these 5 that I consider to be fundamental:
YOU GIVE YOUR BODY THE TIME TO WAKE UP
When we get up, we need time to fully wake up before starting our activities. When you wake up early, you give yourself that time, so your day is less stressful and you can stay alert.
IMPROVES CONCENTRATION.
With your body relaxed, you will be able to concentrate on your tasks for the day without any problem. You will be more alert in the day.
YOU ARE LESS LIKELY TO GET DEPRESSED
You will have more control of your activities, plus you will have time to exercise, which will keep you positive and happy.
IMPROVE YOUR SLEEP HABITS
One benefit that comes with getting up early, going to sleep will be easier at the same time as getting up early without the need for an alarm clock.
IMPROVE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY
The brain tends to be more alert in the morning which improves your productivity

How to have the best routine for productive mornings?
Everything will depend on the habits that you begin to create, those habits take time, but the idea is to go little by little, one step at a time and always doing what works best for you, what makes you feel good and what helps you achieve your goals.
In this post I want to share tips to improve or establish a new morning routine that I know can help you be more alert, more productive and achieve anything you set your mind to.
They are not complicated at all and you can adjust them a little to your reality.
But they will give you the idea and the desire to improve your habits. let's go to them
PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE #1.WAKE UP EARLY.
I am not going to tell you an hour here, I want you to adjust this at your own pace, but I do want you to keep in mind the benefits of achieving this.
Adapt it to your day, day, if you are a mom or dad, you surely need to adjust getting up earlier than the children.
If you're in college, try to get up 2 hours before your first class.
Do you work at home? Try to get up 2 hours before you sit down at the desk.
The idea with this is that you have time to really wake up, not to be running and in a hurry to get to or start something, that in those 2 hours you can find time for yourself, and start with all the batteries ready.
With 2 hours you can achieve a lot and the routine that you propose you can achieve.
If you love to sleep, it's okay to leave it for the weekend, Saturday and Sunday will be your reward days, but I assure you that when you start with this you will feel so good that there will be more weekends that you will want to continue with this routine.
PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE #2. DRINK WATER WHEN YOU WAKE UP.
It seems obvious, but I ask you, did you drink water when you got up today? You will be surprised that many do not, perhaps because they are in a hurry pending all the activities of the day and leave that simple but important action (drinking water) for much later.
Get in the habit of waking up and drinking water, you can have the water on the nightstand next to your bed or get up and get a glass.
You are probably one of those people who does not get up at night, your body may be a little dehydrated, you spent 8 hours or a little less without drinking water, so it is important to start the day by hydrating yourself.
This helps:
- to your metabolism
- Release accumulated toxins
- feel revitalized
- You want to give it an extra touch, squeeze a lemon into the water, not only will it taste delicious, it also gives your body a little vitamin C to start the day.
PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE #3. MEDITATE

This habit is very important, not only do you help your body stay healthy, but include a 30-minute walk, some yoga, or even running in the morning, it clears your mind, generates serotonin, and keeps you happy.
- You don't have to do it every day, you can combine one day walking, the next yoga or stretching.
- A little exercise activates your senses, wakes you up to continue with the day, allows you to focus and be alert.
Start little by little, do things that you really like, there are great apps to exercise at home or if you prefer group exercise, visit the nearest gym and take a class.
PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE #5. TAKE AN INVIGORATING SHOWER.
If you follow these tips in order, it's time to take a good shower. After exercise you will relax and be ready to continue your day.
- In the shower you can go over your activities and tasks for the day.
- It is also a good time to give thanks, appreciate everything you are doing for yourself and to achieve your projects.
Although it's not important, you can pamper yourself a little and use scented body wash that keeps awakening your senses, a little aromatherapy in the morning that makes you smile.
PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE #6. PREPARE A GOOD BREAKFAST.
A good, healthy and abundant breakfast that gives you energy for the day. Include proteins, vegetables and fruits in that breakfast, a good cup of coffee or tea.
When you wake up early, believe me it will give you time to do everything and that includes a champion breakfast.
You can vary them with the days so you avoid getting bored and take it easy, really enjoy every moment of breakfast.
PRODUCTIVE MORNING ROUTINE #7. TIME TO DO THE MOST IMPORTANT TASK OF THE DAY.
Now if we can start our work day with encouragement and assets to achieve our goals.
You can start checking your social networks and your mail, see the list of tasks for the day.
Choose a good playlist (if you don't mind working with music) nothing loud at the moment, something that maintains a totally relaxing atmosphere.
Use the morning to do the most important task or the one that takes the most work. Already with the previous routine, your body and your mind are ready to give their best, they are active and alert, you dedicate the morning to your heaviest work and you will see that you will do it almost without a problem, by doing this you will not only face your challenges , you will also have the satisfaction of completing them in the time you set.
So when the afternoon comes, all that remains is to do the simple things of work, the most difficult will be ready.
